TOLEDO, Ohio — Police are investigating a shooting that left a toddler in critical condition Tuesday afternoon in central Toledo. A 3-year-old girl found a gun inside a home in the 1300 block of Woodruff Avenue near Detroit Avenue and accidentally shot herself in the head, a source with the city of Toledo told WTOL 11. The child was taken to the hospital in critical condition, Toledo police said. No one else was shot and police did not say if any charges have been filed.
